General view outside the stadium before the match

Rangers take on Motherwell at Ibrox this afternoon.

Rangers starting line-up: Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace; Rossiter, Barton, Halliday; Forrester, Miller, McKay.

Rangers substitutes: Gilks, Bates, O'Halloran, Dodoo, Kranjcar, Hodson, Hill.

Rangers will be hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the Premiership season as they take on Motherwell at Ibrox this afternoon.

The Gers drew 1-1 with Hamilton on the opening day of the season before beating Dundee 2-1 last weekend, and Mark Warburton will be aiming for another win today.

Rangers have today confirmed the signing of striker Joe Garner, but the former Preston hitman won't be involved this afternoon with the deal not going through in time.

Garner's unavailability means that Kenny Miller starts up front, and he will be flanked by Barrie McKay and Harry Forrester in Rangers' front three.

Jordan Rossiter starts in midfield alongside Joey Barton and Andy Halliday again having impressed against Dundee, with Jason Holt still missing through injury.

The usual back five of goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, right back James Tavernier, left-back Lee Wallace and centre- backs Danny Wilson and Rob Kiernan start again this afternoon.

The bench sees summer signings Matt Gilks, David Bates, Joe Dodoo, Niko Kranjcar, Lee Hodson and Clint Hill feature, alongside Michael O'Halloran in a strong Rangers squad.
