The midfielder put in an indifferent display in the 2-0 loss to Burnley.
Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to question if Jordan Henderson is good enough to play for Liverpool.
The Reds suffered a shock defeat on Saturday as goals from Sam Vokes and Andre Gray saw Burnley to a 2-0 win at Turf Moor.
The loss once again highlighted a major problem with this current side; their lack of defensive strength.

It was something that was evident in the win over Arsenal on the opening day and once again haunted them in this game.
While many were questioning the defence, Collymore was instead turning his attention to whether the current captain is good enough to play for the Reds.
And just as Reds start to believe in the skipper again, that nagging question pops up..— Stan Collymore (@StanCollymore) 20 August 2016

Really, is he?

It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of role that Henderson has to play for Liverpool moving forward.
Jurgen Klopp has a number of options available to him in the centre of midfield, especially with Georginio Wijnaldum and Marko Grujic arriving at the club this summer.
That means there is firm competition for places and perhaps it would not be surprising to see Henderson lose his place, even if he is the current captain.
