Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Jack Ruddy from Bury in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun (print edition, page 52, Friday, August 19, 2016).
Ruddy has been at Bury since the summer of 2014 and has made one start for the Shakers so far.
The former Real Murcia youngster is a talented goalkeeper and is one for the future.
Wolves’ (reported) interest in Ruddy suggests that they are doing long-term planning regarding the squad.
Molineux - general view
Walter Zenga’s side have made a good start to the 2016-17 Championship campaign.
After drawing 2-2 with Rotherham United away from home on the opening weekend of the season, Wolves defeated Reading 2-0 at Molineux and played out a goalless draw with Ipswich Town.
The Wanderers will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s in the Championship.
