Aston Villa's Adama Traore looks dejected
Traore, 20, was born in Barcelona and came up through the ranks with the Catalan giants, joining at the age of eight before leaving last summer.

The Spanish winger had dazzled for the Barcelona B team, scoring eight goals in 63 games whilst also adding one goal in four games for the Barcelona first team as he emerged as one of the top young talents from the famed La Masia academy.
It was therefore something of a coup for Villa when they landed him last summer, and whilst fans were excited by his arrival, his time at Villa Park has proven to be a major disappointment.

Traore didn't make any starts and came on as a substitute just ten times last season as Villa were relegated from the Premier League, whilst he's played just 16 minutes in the Championship this term.
Now, the Birmingham Mail report that Traore has in fact told manager Roberto Di Matteo that he wants to leave the club this summer, and the player appears to have played his final game for Villa.
Di Matteo is believed to have tried to convince Traore to stay at Villa Park, but the pacey winger seems to have made his mind up – and club owner Tony Xia has taken to Twitter to confirm the news.
Xia confirmed that Traore has spoken to Di Matteo this week and and wants to leave the club, and shortly after posted that players – no matter how talented – must put in the effort at Villa Park.
