Inter Milan are reportedly keen on Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen.
Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen looks dejected
Inter have appointed Dutchman Frank de Boer as their new manager following the departure of Roberto Mancini, and he appears to be keen on reuniting with some of his former Ajax stars.
Marcelo Brozovic plays a pass
Firstly, the Daily Mail reported that new manager De Boer wanted a reunion with Manchester United centre back Daley Blind - but he already appears to be turning his attention to another left-footed former Ajax defender currently playing in the Premier League.

The Belgian international, 29, has established himself as one of the top centre backs in English football at Spurs, and it's believed that De Boer has proposed a swap deal to try and get his man.
It's claimed that Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic - who scored seven goals last season - has been offered up in exchange for Vertonghen, but Tottenham are described as 'unconvinced' by the proposal from the Italian giants.

It's no great shock that Tottenham aren't rushing to accept such an offer. Vertonghen was a huge part of Tottenham's defence last season, which proved to be the joint-best in the Premier League alongside Manchester United.
Vertonghen is settled alongside former Ajax team-mate and compatriot Toby Alderweireld, and Mauricio Pochettino would be a fool to break up such an impressive partnership, all for the chance to sign a midfielder who arguably wouldn't even get into Tottenham's strongest side.
De Boer may fancy working with Vertonghen again, but it would surely take a sensational bid to tempt Tottenham into a deal - and offering up Brozovic shouldn't even make Spurs think about a move.
