Rangers' Wesley Foderingham in action
Foderingham was the undisputed number one for Mark Warburton’s side last season as they secured their return to the Scottish Premiership.
He is facing a fight for his place this season though, with the Gers boss having added experienced ‘keeper Matt Gilks to his squad in the summer transfer window.

So far Foderingham has started both of their games in the Scottish Premiership and has been solid, as they have secured a draw and a win so far.
He though, admits that he must in 9/10 performances every week to ensure he is a regular starter.
“It is great that we have two good goalkeepers in the squad pushing each other, I will be a better goalkeeper for it,” he told the club’s official website.
“There is a lot more pressure on my position and a lot more pressure on my performances now, they need to be nines out of 10 every week otherwise Matt is there waiting to try and take my place.”

It will be interesting to see if the competition for places helps to improve Rangers this summer.
While Warburton will be glad to have several options available to him in every position, it is unknown if the players are quite as happy with the competition for their places.
Rangers will certainly be hoping it garners better performances, with them needing every player to be at their best for success this season.
