The Colombian was loaned out by Aston Villa this summer.
Aston Villa's former player Carlos Sanchez
The Colombian midfielder made the temporary switch earlier this month and will be hoping to guide the Florence club to a Serie A title fight.
It is reported by La Repubblica that Sanchez has cost an initial loan fee of just €300,000 (£260,000). That is a relatively small amount for a player of Sanchez’s calibre and international standing.

However, there is a mandatory buy-out clause included in the deal.
Fiorentina will have to purchase the player permanently should he feature in 50 per cent of La Viola’s games this season. The price they will pay Villa for his services is set at €3 million (£2.6 million).
Villa fans saw the good and the bad from Sanchez and he always performed better for his country than he did with the Midlands club.
He was not considered a player that Roberto Di Matteo was going to use this season, with Aaron Tshibola’s arrival from Reading seemingly a like-for-like replacement.
Villa will certainly hope they will cash in on the player next summer.
