Liverpool's Alberto Moreno concedes a penalty against Arsenal's Theo Walcott
Moreno started the match at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Sunday evening and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 24-year-old Spain international left-back had a very disappointing game, although the Reds registered a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Gunners.
MacAnthony has suggested on Twitter that Liverpool manager Klopp should have signed a left-back by now.
Liverpool manager has had whole summer to fix LB problem & buy one. But nope it's Moreno & Milner as LB options. . Moreno still awful.— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) 14 August 2016
Manager id say as owners seem to given him money to spend so why no new LB? Poor management. Obvious problem area. https://t.co/QPeFUqdPs3— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) 14 August 2016
@DMAC102 well said Darragh. The owners and the manager are at fault.— Tatty Lad (@Tatty_Lad) 14 August 2016
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp
Many Liverpool fans will share MacAnthony’s frustration, but it seems that Klopp is not going to sign a left-back before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the Liverpool manager will drop Moreno for their upcoming Premier League game against Burnley.
It has been reported that Klopp will name fit-again James Milner at left-back for the match at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The Mirror has also claimed that the former Borussia Dortmund coach will not sign a left-back this summer.
