Leicester City have secured a major boost, with star man Riyad Mahrez committing his future to the club by signing a new contract.
The club announced via their official website this evening that the reigning PFA Player of the Year has put pen to paper on an extension.

The new contract does not have any release clause in, meaning there is no way for another club to snap him up on the cheap.
Leicester's Riyad Mahrez
Mahrez is the second player linked with Arsenal this summer to sign a new contract with the Foxes, following Jamie Vardy, who snubbed the Gunners after they triggered his release clause.
The Algerian netted 17 goals last season in helping Leicester win the title, and had he pushed through a move it would have been a big blow to the champions.
He would have been a coup for Arsenal even if he would have been a luxury addition rather than a necessity.

Our main problem is a frontman and a defender....So am happy we're not signing Mahrez #afc— Mark (@damark_afc) August 17, 2016
Not getting Mahrez then... On the bright side let's hope the Ox can push on and smash this season up! Fulfill your potential son!! #AFC— Micky (@lilbigburns) August 17, 2016
Great(!) Mahrez has signed a new contract. It's happened again. It's so annoying that we as a club can't attract players anymore. #AFC— Theo Samuels (@theo_samuels) August 17, 2016
