Twitter reacts to the return of Gary Neville on Monday Night Football

His first managerial stint didn't go to plan but the return of Gary Neville to Monday Night Football has clearly been a success after his return.

His spell in Spain was short-lived after a poor run of form meant that his time was up at Valencia, but Neville made his name in the studio being at the forefront of outstanding analysis of the Premier League, so no doubt he's a welcome addition back on the Sky panel.

It's fair to say his presence was missed with Jamie Carragher taking over the reigns as the main man along with host Ed Chamberlain and the return of the former Manchester United man has certainly pleased viewers.

Neville was part of the team on 'Super Sunday' on Sky Sports on the opening weekend, but it's on Monday nights that his knowledge comes to the fore and he's able to answer questions and give a clear insight into the weekend's action.

Monday's show was the first opportunity for Neville to open up about his spell with Valencia and speak about what he was able to learn after four months in charge such as 'what's it like to lose 7-0?' and 'what were the reasons behind England's disappointing Euro 2016?' He was also asked about other Premier League topics with John Stones and Joe Hart being focal points.

It's time to look at how Twitter reacted to Neville being back in the studio.
