Spurs will need to meet the £13 million buyout clause of Pau Lopez if they are to complete a deal this summer, according to fichajes.net.

Tottenham were linked with the 21-year old goalkeeper earlier this month and had reportedly submitted a lowball offer for his services – as reported by Sport.

The La Liga side are thought to be unwilling to enter into negotiations however, and will only allow their stopper to leave if his buyout clause is met.

Spurs have been rocked by the news that Hugo Lloris will be out of action for a month, after sustaining a hamstring injury during Saturday’s draw with Everton, and Mauricio Pochettino could be tempted to bring in reinforcements between the sticks.

Michel Vorm is the only senior option available and he has recently been linked with a switch to Celtic – according to the Scotsman – after failing to impress at White Hart Lane.

The Lilywhites have brought in two new faces this summer and with a little over two weeks remaining in the transfer window, time is running out for Pochettino to add to his current crop.
