Former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has told Sky Sports that Aston Villa will fail to win against Huddersfield Town in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Holloway has predicted the game at Villa Park this evening to end in a 2-2 draw, and has backed Huddersfield forward Nahki Wells to score the opening goal.

“Huddersfield are playing so well at the moment and I'm backing them to keep going with a draw at Villa Park,” the Englishman told Sky Sports. “Nahki Wells can also carry on his fine form by grabbing the first goal.”

A footnote added: “OLLIE PREDICTS: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet).”

Villa will head into the game against Huddersfield at Villa Park on the back of a 3-0 victory over Rotherham United at home.

It was the Villans’ first competitive win of the season, and Roberto Di Matteo’s side will be determined to build on it.

The Villans will be favourites to win against Huddersfield and should be able to pick up at least a point from the encounter.

Huddersfield have started the 2016-17 Championship campaign strongly and have won both of their league matches so far.

David Wagner’s side got the better of Brentford 2-1 at home in their opening game of the season and won 2-1 against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park at the weekend.

Wells has scored one goal and created one chance in one Championship appearance for Huddersfield so far this season.
