Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko in action
French news outlet L'Equipe are reporting today that representatives from Everton and Inter Milan are due to meet with Moussa Sissoko's agent in Paris this week with a view to signing the French midfielder.
Sissoko's future has been the subject of intense speculation over the summer, and the 27-year-old failed to endear himself to the Geordie faithful with comments regarding his desire to leave Newcastle (BBC Sport).

Everton - recently armed with cash from the sale of John Stones, would easily be able to afford the £35 million that the Magpies are demanding for Sissoko, and he would be a fantastic addition for the Toffees.
L'Equipe also go on to report that Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez will not entertain a drawn-out pursuit of one of his best players, with the Spaniard keen to complete the deal quickly, so he would have sufficient time to replace Sissoko, should he leave the club.

Sissoko moved to St James' in January 2013 for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.5 million, and if Newcastle manage to receive anything near the price they value the Frenchman at, it will have to be seen as good business for the club.
