The striker finally appears to have overcome the injury problems that have plagued him in recent years, starring towards the end of last season.

West Ham's Andy Carroll reacts
He has maintained his fitness across the summer and will be keen to make his mark with the Hammers next season as they seek to build on an impressive first year under Bilic.
And he has told the striker that this season is a massive one for him as he could be the 20-goal striker they need.
“It is a massive season for Andy Carroll,” he told the club’s official website.
“What gives us hope is that he has done the whole of pre-season. When you want to sign a striker who will score 20 goals a season if you look at his stats he can get you that.”
West Ham's And Carroll applauds their fans after being substituted
It now remains to be seen if Carroll can stay injury free for the majority of the campaign and provide the Hammers with the goals they need.
If he does it will be interesting to see what role he plays with the additions of Andre Ayew and Jonathan Calleri meaning he may face a fight for first team football.
