Former Crystal Palace man Adrian Mariappa is in talks with Hull
Hull City are in talks with former Crystal Palace and Watford defender Adrian Mariappa, according to Sky Sports.
Mariappa is a free agent after he was released from Palace at the beginning of last month, calling time on a three year stint at Selhurst Park.
The 29 year old previously spent seven years at Watford, where he made 247 appearances in all competitions, before going on to join Reading for a fee thought to be around the £2-3 million mark.

And according to Sky Sports, his next destination could well be in the North-East, as Hull desperately looking add numbers to their ailing first team squad.
The Tigers got off to a surprisingly good start to the new season, beating Premier League champions Leicester City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday, courtesy of second half Robert Snodgrass strike to help secure a 2-1 win.

The shock result came in spite of the fact that Hull only had 13 senior players available for the game, with Jake Livermore forced to fill in at centre-back.
The Tigers have been rocked by a series of long term injuries, especially in defence, where Alex Bruce, Michael Dawson and Moses Odubajo have all suffered injuries that will keep them out for some time.

This has been compounded by the departure of Steve Bruce, who left after the club failed to sign adequate replacements, leaving assistant Mike Phelan to salvage their summer transfer window.
And the former number two for Sir Alex Ferguson looks to be wasting little time, and Mariappa could be the first of a few to come through the front door at the club this summer.
