Sheffield Wednesday star Fernando Forestieri has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he does not plan to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
Forestieri has made it clear on Twitter that he wants to carry on playing for Wednesday this season.
The 26-year-old, who can play as a striker or as an attacking midfielder, has apologised for his recent behaviour, and hopes that both he and the club can now move on.

Forestieri has been linked with a move away from Wednesday in the summer transfer window.
According to a recent report in The Derby Telegraph, Championship rivals Derby County and Newcastle United are interested in signing the Italian from Wednesday this summer.
The attacker did not feature in the Owls’ Championship game against Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road at the weekend.

The Derby Telegraph claimed that Forestieri did not travel with the Wednesday squad to Norwich for the match on Saturday evening.
The Star reported earlier on Monday that the attacker had refused to play against Norwich.
However, it now seems that Forestieri will remain at Wednesday for the 2016-17 campaign. This means that Championship rivals Derby and Newcastle will have to look at other options.
