Charlie Austin celebrates after scoring for Southampton against Manchester United
Everton fans have taken to social networking set Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Charlie Austin in the summer transfer window.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on signing the 27-year-old and another centre-forward.
Austin worked with Koeman at Southampton last season following his move from QPR in the January transfer window.
The Englishman had injury problems and was able to make just seven appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring one goal and creating one chance in the process.
The striker, though, has already proven himself in the English top flight before, scoring 18 goals and creating 23 chances in 35 Premier League matches for QPR during the 2014-15 campaign.
Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Austin this summer.

Charlie Austin would be coming to Everton to play with Romelu Lukaku not replace that would be worst then Ings and Lambert for Suarez #EFC— Simon J Villiers (@sjv_simon) August 15, 2016

Charlie Austin being linked with Everton. Decent player but with his injury record would be a risk unless very cheap price— Ghedin1878 (@Ghedin1878) August 15, 2016
Would look elsewhere personally for Lukaku's back up, certainly need someone better than Kone in though this window— Ghedin1878 (@Ghedin1878) August 15, 2016
Don't like the idea of Charlie Austin in... Replacement for Lukaku. Funniest thing ever— Chris Gill (@Chrisgill95) August 15, 2016
