Liverpool's Lucas Leiva in action
Reports emanating from Italy suggest that Inter Milan are keen on bringing Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva to the club as a potential replacement for Juventus-bound Marcelo Brozovic, according to GazzaMercato.
Brozovic, who was also a reported target of Liverpool, is understood to be verging on a move to Turin, and a deal could be completed within the next 48 hours (Corriere dello Sport).
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Lucas Leiva
Lucas, 29, has been at Liverpool since 2007, and has gone on to make 314 appearances for the Merseyside outfit.
Whilst he has been an important player for the Reds over the years, it is unclear whether Jurgen Klopp sees the Brazilian as an integral part of his squad for the upcoming season.
The former Gremio man has just one year remaining on his current deal at Anfield, so Liverpool would be running the risk of losing him for nothing next summer, should they decide not to sell him now.

Lucas has been capped 24 time say Brazil, and his quality is not in question. With the slower pace style of the Italian game, the Liverpool man could flourish at Inter, if a move eventually comes to fruition.
