Former player Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to single out Liverpool’s Sadio Mane for praise following his contribution to the Reds’ impressive 4-3 opening day win at Arsenal.
The former Salzburg star joined the Reds from Southampton this summer, signign a five-year contract and in turn becoming the most expensive African player in terms of a fee to play in the Premier League.
He made an impressive start to life on Merseyside by netting in a 4-0 friendly win over Barcelona, and on his league debut he topped off a superb display with a wonderful solo goal in the 4-3 win at Arsenal.

Writing on social media site Twitter, former West Ham United player Trevor Sinclair feels the 24-year-old can be the difference maker at Liverpool this season and help them achieve their objectives.
Jurgen Klopp has strengthened his squad with the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip, Loris Korius and Ragnar Klavan this summer, yet the addition of Mane without doubt tops the bill.
The Senegal international showcased his ability while with Southampton, and already in his brief time at Liverpool he has demonstrated his ability to be a top player for the club.
