According to Il Tempo, Roma are considering a move for Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The Giallorossi are currently trying to secure a move for Torino full back Bruno Peres to fill their right back spot.

The Brazilian is very much their first choice transfer target, with them hoping to get a deal done before they take on Porto in the Champions League in midweek.

However the two clubs are currently apart in their asking price, meaning a deal is yet to be concluded.

Should they fail to come to an agreement, the Serie A side has lined up alternatives and Il Tempo report that Debuchy is among them.

The Frenchman has found himself down the pecking order at the Emirates in the last two years, with Hector Bellerin having broken through and made the right back spot his own.

The situation is unlikely to change this summer, with his best chances of first team action likely to come in the cup competitions.

He has been linked with a move to several clubs all summer, but so far a move has not materialised for him.
