According to Gianluca di Marzio, Fiorentina have rejected an offer from Everton for striker Nikola Kalinic.

The Blues are looking to make a raft of signings before the end of the transfer window as Ronald Koeman continues to improve his squad.

A new striker is likely to be top of their wish list, with them currently lacking sufficient back up options to star man Romelu Lukaku.

Indeed, there lack of options has seen winger Gerard Deulofeu used in the role for the opening day draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

And it appears that they have already made a move to solve the issue, with Gianluca di Marzio reporting Fiorentina have turned down an offer between £18 million and £21 million for forward Nikola Kalinic.

According to them, the Serie A side are not willing to part with their star man unless they receive a bid of £30 million.

It remains to be seen if that is a price that Everton are willing to pay for the striker, who scored 12 goals in 36 games across all competitions for Paulo Sousa’s side last season.
