According to The Sun, Arsenal are ready to loan out Glen Kamara to Reading.

The report claims that the Gunners rate the Finnish midfielder highly and are ready to sanction a loan deal to Championship side Reading, who are now under the guidance of Jaap Stam.

Kamara, 20, joined the Arsenal youth team from Southend United in 2012 and went on to make his debut for the club in the League Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough last season.

Capped as a Finland U21 international, Kamara is said to have a bright future ahead of him, and the North London club will be eager to see how he does upon earning regular first-team action.

Reading made an interesting change in the summer as they replaced former boss Brian McDermott with ex-Manchester United and Netherlands international defender Stam.

The Berkshire club has predominently played a direct style of football over the past 10 years, yet Stam has come in is slowly but surely implementing a more possession-based game.

The Royals have made a number of additions this summer with arguably the standout being John Swift from Chelsea, but they are arguably still short on quality to mount a top-six challenge.

Kamara would be a good signing for the Championship outfit, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will want his youngster to join a club which shares similar playing traits in order to help aid his progression.
