Former Liverpool star Luis Garcia has taken to Twitter to react to his old side’s scintillating win over Arsenal.

The Reds travelled to the Emirates on Sunday as they looked to start their season with a victory.

The did just that with goals from Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane seeing them to a 4-3 victory.

It was a highly impressive performance from Jurgen Klopp’s side, who at times looked like they would not stop at just four goals in the game.

The defensive work from his side will not have pleased the German though, and Garcia’s reaction seemed to hint as much, praising the brilliant display but saying there was still work to be done.

It now remains to be seen if this performance was the start of an exciting season for Liverpool this season.

They were at their scintillating best in this game, with their attacking power in particular showing they can be a force against any side.

The defensive showing will have been of concern though and that will need to be fixed quickly if they are to enjoy success.
