The Ivorian has been in poor form for Leeds recently.
Leeds' Sol Bamba
Leeds United played and lost in their first home game of the season yesterday, going down 2-1 to a spirited Birmingham City display at Elland Road.
It was a game where Leeds impressed in the first-half, but tailed off after the interval and in the end they could not complain with the end result.
There were plenty of poor results across the pitch for Leeds. Chris Wood was particularly bad up front with yet another weighty display up top.
But for many a Leeds fan the patience has now run out with their captain Sol Bamba.
His form has been poor for some time now, including at the end of last season, and Leeds fans are now begging Garry Monk to drop the Ivorian.
Bamba, who is popular for his honest opinions and the way he speaks in the media, has simply not been good enough on the pitch recently and Leeds would surely be doing the right thing if they went looking for another central-defender.
Leeds fans were unforgiving on Twitter, as they made it clear they want the club captain dropped fr the club’s next game…
The Sol Bamba/Chris Wood As Footballers project can be aborted. Dreadful. #lufc— CK (@ephemeraljoy) August 13, 2016

Bamba appears to be the new bellusci. If only you lot had realized last year that bellusci was miles better than Bamba #lufc— Paul LUFC (@pistol1603) August 13, 2016
