Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a heartfelt message to Dorus de Vries.

De Vries has left Championship club Forest to join Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.

As announced on Celtic’s official website on Saturday evening, Brendan Rodgers’s side have signed the goalkeeper on a two-year contract.

Evtimov, who is 22 years of age and has been at Forest since 2011, has taken to Twitter to send an emotional message to the 35-year-old Dutchman.

De Vries is a good goalkeeper who kept 11 clean sheets in 43 Championship matches for Forest last season.

The Dutchman will be aiming to establish himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at Celtic.

Craig Gordon is the number one between the posts for the Hoops at the moment, but he has not been great recently.

Celtic are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season as well as qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.
