Arsenal open their Premier League campaign with a home game against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
The Gunners finished second last season and will be hoping to go one better this time around, but manager Arsene Wenger is without some key players already today.
Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil are all missing after their appearances late into Euro 2016, whilst injuries to Gabriel Paulista and Per Mertesacker have left him short at the back.
Youngsters Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding start in the heart of defence, whilst Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny feature in midfield.
Theo Walcott fills in for Giroud up front, and he'll be supplied by Aaron Ramsey, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Iwobi, as summer signing Granit Xhaka has been left on the bench today.
Xhaka is joined by the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Cazorla, Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere on the bench this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have a few injury worries of their own as the likes of Loris Karius, James Milner and Daniel Sturridge miss out today.
Manager Jurgen Klopp enjoyed some fine pre-season performances, including the 4-0 win over Barcelona last weekend - and he's stuck with much of the team that started that victory.
Jordan Henderson comes in for Emre Can in the centre of midfield, whilst Alberto Moreno replaces Milner at left back.
That means that Klopp hands competitive debuts to summer signings Ragnar Klavan, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane, with fellow new arrivals Alex Manninger and Joel Matip left on the bench.
Youngsters Kevin Stewart, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Marko Grujic are also substitutes, as are Divock Origi and Emre Can.
