Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies has hailed the positive atmosphere currently surrounding the squad to the club's official website.

The Bhoys have enjoyed a strong start to the season, with a string of impressive performances domestically and in Europe.

Their latest was a 5-0 demolition of Motherwell in the League Cup as they comfortably progressed in that competition.

Saturday saw them taking on Inter Milan in Ireland, which they were using as a final preparation game of the summer before they take in Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Champions League next week.

And Davies was keen to praise that positive attitude currently surrounding the squad.

“There’s a lot of positivity, there is a really good feeling about the place,” he told the club’s official website.

“Everyone is in a positive mind-set and winning creates that. The feeling around it [the squad] is really good, upbeat and positive and hopefully that continues as we have a big couple of weeks coming up.”

Celtic will certainly be hoping they can take that positivity and ensure they can continue their winning streak in that Champions League qualifier.

They have been handed a better tie than expected, but will know hat the game against the Israeli side will be far from an easy tie.

Should they progress though it will only help to further boost the positive atmosphere that Rodgers and his team are building at Celtic Park.
