Everton's Leon Osman and Reading's Aaron Tshibola jump for a header
Aston Villa picked up their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon as they hammered Rotherham United 3-0 at Villa Park.
After a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and a 3-1 embarrassment at the hands of Luton Town in the EFL Cup, Villa needed to get their season kickstarted - and that's just what happened on Saturday.

Striker Rudy Gestede headed Villa in front when he headed home Aly Cissokho's cross, and he made it 2-0 with his second of the game as he chipped Lee Camp from Ross McCormack's through ball.
Homegrown ace Jack Grealish added gloss to the win by dancing through the Rotherham defender and sliding into the empty net from a tight angle.
Aston Villa fans
The win was a vital boost for manager Roberto Di Matteo, and the Italian will have been particularly pleased with the performance of summer signing Aaron Tshibola.
Tshibola, 21, joined Villa from Reading back in July and having played just 20 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, the midfielder made his first league start for Villa against Rotherham.

Whilst young and raw, Tshibola clearly impressed as Villa fans took to Twitter in order to rave about his display, even joking that his performance was better than Mo Farah's gold medal win at the Rio Olympic Games.
Others stated that Tshibola was 'crucial' and 'absolutely awesome', with fans eager to see Tshibola in action with alleged transfer target Mile Jedinak in the middle of the park.
With huge potential and a strong performance already, Tshibola is making strides at Villa Park - and here are some of the reactions from Aston Villa fans on Twitter after his display against Rotherham...
Mo Farah has just posted the second-best sporting performance of the last 24 hours, just losing out to Aaron Tshibola #AVFC— Daniel Williams (@WanDilliams) August 14, 2016
Well done to Tshibola today, absolutely awesome.involved in everything and sublime skill at the start of the move for 1st goal #avfc— Alandellie (@Alandellie) August 13, 2016
Best game I've seen at Villa Park for a long time. Tshibola looked different class first half, Gestede powerful and Grealish creative. #avfc— James White (@James_White08) August 14, 2016
Tshibola was crucial. Grealish / Ayew caused problems. McCormack battled from start to finish and Rudy proved he can bet at this level #AVFC— The VILLA Bible (@VillaBible) August 13, 2016
Tshibola has a lot of potential and looks to be a good buy but one thing he has to stop is allowing the ball to bounce when defending #avfc— John Byng (@john_byng) August 13, 2016
Tshibola was superb today. He was just always there when needed. Great presence in the midfield. #avfc— Andy (@AndyVilla80) August 13, 2016
Tshibola looks a nice tidy player very cool on the ball & always looking for it all the time & plays it quite well #AVFC— AVDAZ (@DB_AVFC) August 13, 2016
Can't emphasise any more how confident Tshibola looked, he was brilliant, if the Jerdinak rumours are true they'd be class together #avfc— Corey (@CoreyJayDee) August 13, 2016
What did you think of Tshibola's display against Rotherham?
