Villarreal striker Roberto Soldado has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Erik Lamela’s performance for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

Lamela featured in Tottenham’s Premier League game against Everton away from home at Goodison Park.

The Argentina international, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes. The 24-year-old scored for Spurs just before the hour mark with a header.

Lamela had a very good game against Everton and could have doubled his tally.

The Argentine attacker had a very good pre-season, and he seems to have started the 2016-17 Premier League campaign strongly.

Tottenham failed to win against Everton, but a point away at Goodison Park is not a bad result.

The North London outfit will return to action next weekend when they take on Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
