The 19-year-old has been linked with a surprise move to Villa Park.
Diawara has emerged as a surprise target for Championship side Villa in recent days, with speculation suggesting that the 19-year-old midfielder was on the radar of Roberto di Matteo.
The Guinean rising star is considered one of the hottest young talents in Italian football, and had previously been linked with the likes of Roma and Napoli in Italy, as well as clubs including Manchester City from further afield.
The initial report from Gianluca Di Marzio last week claimed that Villa had made a bid of €17 million (£14.5 million) for the highly-coveted player.
It was thought that Diawara had rejected the approach from the Championship club as he looks to move to a high-profile club.
However, the latest update from Football Italia suggests that the only other two clubs to have registered solid interest in Diawara, Napoli and Roma, have both abandoned their approaches.
Roma now look set to keep Leandro Paredes, meaning they no longer need Diawara as a replacement, whilst Napoli are thought to be close to sealing a deal for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marko Rog.
According to the report, the cooling of the Italian clubs' interest has led to Diawara reconsidering a move to Villa or else risk finding himself exiled this season after burning his bridges at Bologna.
