Former England international cricketer Michael Vaughan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to speculation that Fernando Forestieri could leave Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window.
According to a recent report in The Derby Telegraph, Championship rivals Derby County and Newcastle United are interested in signing Forestieri from Wednesday this summer.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder, who can also play as a striker, did not feature in the Owls’ Championship game against Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road on Saturday evening.

The Derby Telegraph has claimed that Forestieri did not travel with the Wednesday squad to Norwich for the match.
Wednesday fan Vaughan has taken to Twitter to express his surprise that the club are willing to sell the 26-year-old Italian.

Forestieri scored 15 goals and created 39 chances in 38 Championship matches for Wednesday during the 2015-16 campaign.
In one league appearances for the Owls so far this season, the former Watford striker has scored one goal and created one chance.
Wednesday are one of the contenders for a top-six finish in the Championship this season.
