Hull City won against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Clucas featured for Hull in the Premier League match against Leicester at the KCOM Stadium.
The 25-year-old midfielder started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 2-1.
Former Tottenham and Chelsea midfielder Hoddle was following the match, and he was pleased with the performance of Clucas on his Premier League debut.

Hull took the lead against Leicester on the stroke of half-time through Adama Diomande, but Riyad Mahrez restored parity for the Premier League champions just two minutes into the second half from the penalty spot.
Robert Snodgrass restored the Tigers’ lead just before the hour mark, and the hosts held on until final whistle.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Hull had 50% of the possession, took 14 shots, of which five were on target, and earned five corners.
Hull will take on Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League next weekend.
