On loan Leeds defender's message a case of bad timing and miscommunication?
Leeds United's manager Garry Monk
Leeds United's disappointing start to the season continued this weekend as they lost 2-1 at home to Birmingham City.
The defeat followed up a 3-0 loss QPR on the opening day, and fans are growing a little anxious, with Fulham and then Sheffield Wednesday up next.
Again the theme of the performance was poor defending, and one Leeds player out on loan found himself unwittingly drawn into post match controversy.
Leeds United's Giuseppe Bellusci
Squad villain Giuseppe Bellusci is out on loan at Serie A side Empoli, ditched by the current set up as pre-season began.
He posted a message on Twitter last night which frankly could have meant or been connected with anything, but some Leeds supporters took it as him laughing at the club's result.

Bellusci did not ignore the responses to his message, and was at pains to stress that his message was nothing to do with Leeds United, although did not clarify what exactly it was for.
My tweet absolutely not for Leeds!!! I support my ex team and my friends inside ex dressing room!!! I hope Leeds win the season!!! KISS— Giuseppe Bellusci (@peppe_ele) August 13, 2016
It's surely fair to give Bellusci the benefit of the doubt on this one, and his message shows he wants his former club to do well - although it is hard to see him having a future at Elland Road after his loan ends.
