Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has taken to social networking site Twitter to make it clear that Britt Assombalonga will not leave the club in the summer transfer window.

Assombalonga is one of the best players at Forest and has been linked with a move away from the Championship club this summer.

According to a report in The Nottingham Post, Championship rivals Norwich City are interested in signing the 23-year-old striker.

The former Peterborough United striker did not feature in Forest’s Championship match against Brighton & Hove Albion away from home at the American Express Community Stadium on Friday evening.
