West Bromwich Albion have made an improved offer to sign Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City, according to The Daily Mail’s Transfer Live blog (12:38, August 12, 2016).

It has been reported that Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri rejected a bid of £9 million for Schlupp earlier in the summer transfer window.

The Baggies are now claimed to have increased their bid to £11.5m in order to secure the services of the 23-year-old left-back.

According to the report, Schlupp, who can also play as a winger, will decide his own future.

“Sportsmail understands the Italian manager has left it to Schlupp to decide whether he wants to move to the Baggies,” states the report in The Daily Mail’s Transfer Live blog (12:38, August 12, 2016).

“Ranieri knows the Ghana international is eager for regular first-team football and will not stand in his way if he wants to go.”
