Dusan Tadic has signed a new deal at Southampton
Speaking to Southampton's YouTube Channel, Dusan Tadic has singled out his connection with Saints supporters after putting pen to paper on a new four year deal.
The tricky Serbian forward, who is adept both out wide and also through the middle, joined Southampton two years ago from FC Twente and has not looked back since, lighting up St Mary's with a string of impressive Premier League displays.
Tadic had his best goal-scoring campaign in English football last season, netting 8 times, double his total from the previous year.

And the Serbian international was evidently delighted to have signed a new deal at St Mary's.
"I really like it here in every way, but it’s normal when somebody puts in a lot of effort and shows they want you a lot then it is a much easier decision.
"I am really pleased. I have had two beautiful years here and a great connection with the supporters and everyone in the club – all the players and the staff.

"I am really happy that I have signed a new contract. The club showed a lot of effort to keep me. There were also other possibilities, but we recognised that the best is that I stay in Southampton, and I want to mention they put in a lot of effort for that, and I appreciate that."
"When I play in front of them [the fans] I get extra energy and motivation. They support us really nicely, and they give me and every player a special energy.
“England is the strongest league in the world and it’s always difficult to play here, but it’s also nice and I’m really appreciative of that. We have a good team with good coaches and the whole club is like family and this is really nice.”
Will Tadic improve on last season's goal haul?
Tadic looks set to play an important role under new manager Claude Puel this season, as Southampton look to compete on multiple fronts, with their participation in the Europa League also to contend with.
The Saints kick off their Premier League campaign tomorrow against Watford, who, like south coast club, have a new manager at the helm in the form of Walter Mazzarri.
