The pair will be hoping to make their debuts this weekend.
Everton's Idrissa Gueye in action
Everton begin their Premier League campaign against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow afternoon hoping for a positive start to life under the management of new boss Ronald Koeman.
The Toffees do so with plenty of movement in the transfer market at the club this week.
Everton unfortunately said goodbye to young defender John Stones. He left for Manchester City in a big money move.
Wales' Ashley Williams
However, they soon replaced him. Everton completed a fantastic piece of business by bringing in Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.
He has got immediately involved in Everton first-team training and will be hoping to start against Tottenham tomorrow afternoon.
He is not the only player looking for an Everton debut.
Idrissa Gana Gueye, perhaps one of the only players to come out of last season with any credit at Aston Villa, will be looking to feature as well and he was pictured in training yesterday as well.
As was Shani Tarashaj. The Swiss attacker signed for Everton in the winter but remained at former club Grasshoppers.
The Swiss international will be eager to feature in Koeman’s first-team plans this season.

Another player hoping to feature for the first time in Everton's first-team is Mason Holgate. The 19-year-old joined the club from Barnsley in 2015 but has yet to feature for the first-team in a competitive fixture.
Everton will be hoping that this defender can follow in the path of Stones and become a first-team regular.
