Citigroup has appointed several senior level investment bankers to top roles on its healthcare team, bolstering its capabilities at a time when M&A in the sector is expected to pick up, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.
The news agency reports that the investment bank has appointed two co-heads of North American healthcare investment banking, Jennifer Fox and Toby King, the memo said. It also appointed Brad Wolff to head of west coast life sciences, it added.
In the meantime, Reuters also reports that Wells Fargo & Company named David Kowach to head its retail wealth managementdivision, Wells Fargo Advisors, the nation's third-largest brokerage, on Thursday.
Kowach was promoted from his job overseeing roughly 11,000 brokers in the bank's Private Client Group. He succeeds Mary Mack, who left Wells Fargo Advisors last month to head up Wells' community banking business.
