The Switzerland midfielder is the only major arrival at the Emirates this summer.
Arsenal's Granit Xhaka
The midfielder is the Gunners’ only major arrival this summer, with them paying over £30 million for his services before Euro 2016.
There is great anticipation about the Switzerland star after Arsenal fans watched him impress with his country at Euro 2016 this summer.

They are hoping that he can add the physicality to their midfield that has been lacking since the departure of Patrick Vieira.
Keown is certainly one who has been impressed by him, saying that it appears as if Xhaka can do it all.
“With the addition of Euro 2016 standout Granit Xhaka, Arsene Wenger has an abundance of midfield talent as his disposal,” he told the Daily Mail.
“They needed something extra in there and Xhaka looks like he can do it all. Is he an Edu or a Petit? I’m not sure, but if he’s half as good as either then Arsene has done an exceptional job in signing him.”

It now remains to be seen whether Xhaka does prove to be a smart signing next season.
Unfortunately the pressure is very much on his shoulders to prove himself, with the club’s failure to make any other big signings putting the spotlight firmly on him at this stage.
He appeared to handle the pressure from his country well this summer though, and Arsenal fans will be hoping he turns out to be the player they need, especially if he proves to be the only major arrival.
