Leicester City transfer round-up: Report suggests bid has been placed for Roma star; three potential exits on the horizon

According to reports from Mediaset Premium (via Football Italia) Leicester have made a bid of £18.9 million for Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The 22-year-old Argentine impressed during a loan spell with Serie A outfit Empoli last term, and would be a tremendous signing for the Foxes, should a move eventually materialise.

Meanwhile, The Sun have reported that Aston Villa are close to signing Leicester full-back Ritchie De Laet in a deal believed to be worth around £2.5 million.

The Belgian spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough, but still made the required amount of appearances for the Foxes to qualify for a Premier League winners medal.

In other transfer news, West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made an increased offer of £11.5 million for Jeffrey Schlupp, according to the Daily Mail.

The 23-year-old Ghana international has spent six-years at the King Power Stadium, and has made 142 appearances for the Foxes.

And finally, Leicester defender Liam Moore is considering handing in a transfer request, according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from the club over the summer, but any kind of potential transfer has so far failed to materialise.
