The Blues have brought three players to the club this summer.

This week has been a busy one at Goodison Park, with John Stones finally making his big-money move to Manchester City.
The club swiftly replaced him with Swansea City defender Ashley Williams, who became their third signing of the summer transfer window.

That would take their number of arrivals to five should they complete those moves, but Koeman has admitted that he is still targeting another three or four signings before the end of the window.
“I don’t comment on rumours. We have discussions with the board and with Steve Walsh, and we want three or four more players,” the club’s Twitter account reports him saying.
“We are not at the level we need to be yet. We are working hard and we will improve. But the team will be strong on Saturday.”

It will now be interesting to see what areas that Koeman may look to improve before the transfer window closes.
Another striker is sure to be top of his wishlist given how weak they are in that department at present, while there is also a pressing need for cover at right-back.
Beyond that perhaps the Dutchman is hoping to add the marquee signing that was touted earlier this summer.
