Mesut Ozil would jump at the chance of a Real Madrid return, claim German newspaper Bild
Arsenal's Mesut Ozil
The report claims that Ozil, who has been in contract talks with Arsene Wenger's side for over a year, has become frustrated with their failure to keep up with fellow Premier League title challengers spending power, with their only major signing being Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
There is also the feeling that only winning two FA Cups in three seasons at Arsenal is further frustrating him as he seeks to win major trophies.

The paper goes on to add that Wenger's side need to reinforce defensively as well as in attack, and due to limited movement in the transfer market the 27-year-old German will look to hold off any further talks until the current window shuts.
The suggestion that Ozil may seek a move away from the Emirates Stadium was further added to when The Mirror reported that the star allegedly believes he has unfinished business at Real Madrid.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
Wenger's pursuit of his transfer targets has been frustrating. In the current transfer window they have been linked with a number of high-profile players, most notably Gonzalo Higuain, Jamie Vardy, and Alexandre Lacazette, but so far all have come to nothing.
While Lacazette still remains a possibility, Vardy has pledged his future to Leicester City and Higuain signed for Serie A champions Juventus.
