Leicester City defender Liam Moore is reportedly considering handing in a transfer request at the King Power Stadium, according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old defender has seen his hopes of a move away from the Premier League champions shunned this summer, with Leicester turning down two bids from Championship side Reading.

The Royals have however not yet given up hope of securing a deal for Moore, with Sky Sports also suggesting the Berkshire club have made a third bid.

He has also not been given a shirt number for the new campaign, nor even a first-team locker.

Moore failed to make a single appearance for Leicester during their historic Premier League campaign last season, spending time on loan at Bristol City and Brentford, making 10 and three appearances respectively.

The English defender has been capped at Under-21 level for the national side, with 10 appearances to date.
