Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn has taken to social media to thank supporters and provide an update on his hamstring injury.
The 26-year old pulled up clutching the back of his thigh in the late stages of last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hamilton Academical and fans feared the worst.

The prognosis isn’t a disaster however, with Waghorn revealing he is just two weeks away from a return in a messaged posted on his official Twitter account:

Waghorn has quickly established himself as a fan favourite, following his move from Wigan last summer, and his form in front of goal has been crucial in the Gers’ recent successes.
He managed to grab his first goal in the top flight before going off against the Accies and Mark Warburton will hope he can get close to last season’s goal tally.
Rangers' Martyn Waghorn celebrates
The former England Under-21 international bagged 28 goals in all competitions last term and proved a nightmare for defences in the Championship.
He will have to adjust to the step up in quality of SPL defences and on the basis of Saturday’s showing, he has the quality to do just that.
