The Crystal Palace winger is linked with Everton this week.
Alejandro Moreno has told ESPN that he believes Everton are right to be interested in signing Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace.
The Guardian reported on Wednesday that Everton were closing in on a £28 million deal for the 27-year-old attacker.
If true, the Toffees will be signing a jet-heeled winger with enough tricks and directness to make him a nightmare for Premier League full-backs.
And although Moreno hinted about a lack of consistent productivity, he believes Ronald Koeman should indeed sign the Crystal Palace ace.
"Looking at it from the perspective of Everton, you need players who can take on defenders in one-on-one situations and Bolasie's that sort of guy," he told ESPN.
"He's sort of a wildcard in what he can produce in the final third. I think this is a hit for Everton."
He is indeed a very talented player but Bolasie's numbers do not stack up particularly well, with the Democratic Republic of Congo international scoring six and setting up four goals in all competitions last term.
The season before that, he clocked four goals in 31 Premier League outings - and three of those came in one match.
That being said, Everton have significantly better footballers than Palace do in their ranks and playing alongside more quality may do him the world of good as far as productivity goes.
