Brighton and Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray has stated that he was sick of hearing about Paul Pogba throughout the summer.

Manchester United completed the world-record £89 million signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus recently and given the enormous money involved, it was no surprise to see the transfer receiving a lot of coverage from both the English as well as the Italian media.

However, the protracted nature of the transfer meant that football fans were constantly bombarded with news stories regarding Pogba’s prospective move, and many were certainly getting a bit tired with the coverage of the story.

It is not just the fans who were left frustrated regarding the incessant reports linking though as Brighton striker Glenn Murray has gone on to reveal.

Through his official Twitter account, Murray stated that he is relieved that Pogba’s move to Old Trafford has finally been confirmed and added that he was "sick" of hearing about the French midfielder this summer.

He posted:

Pogba will most likely be making his second debut for Manchester United during the clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday and unfortunately for Murray, the media will probably provide coverage of the French superstar’s every move during the clash.
