Juventus are reportedly looking to spend the money made on the sale of Paul Pogba to Manchester United.
Paredes looks set to leave AS Roma
Having offloaded Pogba for around £90 million, Juventus have now reportedly turned their attention to the 22-year-old Argentine, who looks set for a move away from the Italian capital this summer.
Liverpool and City are both understood to be keen on bringing the play-maker to the Premier League, although French side Monaco and Bundesliga club Schalke are also thought to be interested.
But a combination of the player's reported preference to stay in Italy, along with Juventus having such a substantial amount of cash from their recent sale of Pogba, means the Serie A champions would potentially be in a good position to seal a move.
Despite their recent high-profile sale, Juve still have a number of talented midfielders at their disposal, and out of all the teams reportedly linked with the midfielder's signature, they are arguably the most likely to mount a challenge for the UEFA Champions League.
