Rangers fans react on Twitter to Clint Hill's performance

QPR's Clint Hill

Clint Hill scored twice for Rangers as they won against Peterhead at Ibrox.

Clint Hill left Rangers fans stunned as he bagged a brace during their comprehensive victory over Peterhead.

Hill netted either side of half-time in a 5-0 win, inspired by his former QPR teammate Niko Kranjcar.

The Croatian scored one and provided two assists, with an own goal and a strike from Joe Dodoo rounding off the scoring.

The win puts Rangers into the quarter-finals of the League Cup, and is a boost after a disappointing league draw against Hamilton at the weekend.

37-year-old Clint Hill was a controversial signing this summer from QPR, but brings with him bags of experience, and in the short term could prove to be an astute signing for the Gers.

If he can continue to find the back of the net like he did last night he will prove to be very valuable, with his display topped off by a clean sheet.
