Celtic are in Scottish League Cup action this evening as the take on Motherwell at Celtic Park in the second round of the competition.

The Bhoys claimed a dramatic 2-1 league win over Heart of Midlothian to kick off their season with a victory, and the match winner, Scott Sinclair, is in tonight's line-up.

Sinclair, 27, only signed for Celtic from Aston Villa on Sunday morning, but scored the winning goal against Hearts just hours later to make himself an instant Bhoys hero.

Tonight, Sinclair starts out on the left hand side of a 4-2-3-1 system, with James Forrest and Tom Rogic - who have both signed new contracts with the club this week - also supporting lone striker Moussa Dembele this evening.

Eoghan O'Connell continues in defence having impressed in recent weeks, with Saidy Janko starting at right back whilst Mikael Lustig moves inside to centre half.

Veterans Craig Gordon, Emilio Izaguirre and Scott Brown all start as well, with Callum McGregor partnering Brown in the heart of midfield.

Brendan Rodgers has handed places on the bench to a number of young players, such as Ryan Christie, Liam Henderson, Anthony Ralston and Jamie McCart, as well as Nadir Ciftci and Stuart Armstrong.
