Aston Villa take on Luton Town in the League Cup this evening, hoping to avoid an upset.

Villa travel to Kenilworth Road looking to bounce back from their opening defeat in the Championship to Sheffield Wednesday.

Wednesday were eliminated at the same stage last night by lower league Cambridge United, and Villa will have to be wary of an upset.

Here is a look at how the team line up:

Confirmed XI: Bunn, Richards, Baker, Okore, Amavi, Tshibola, Gardner, Green, Grealish, Ayew, McCormack

Substitutes: Steer, Bacuna, Elphick, Gestede, Westwood, Hutton, Cissokho

While the league will be a priority to Villa, Roberto di Matteo know the importance of adding confidence with a win against Luton.

League Two Luton themselves began their campaign with a win, beating Plymouth 3-0 away at the weekend, and with the chance to put one over on a potentially susceptible Villa side in their first home game of the season, they will be determined to get a result.
